I live about 3 hours away from augusta, I was actually in there for Thescon as an acting thing for 3 days in march 2010, But I was wondering do some of the tournaments have cash prizes, or other types of prizes for 1st place?

I am looking to start up a new group in Augusta for adult gamers.
Mainly intended for couples who want a night away from kids...being a
kid...with other adults. We will also share gamer tags to play together
at home. Hopefully can start hosting Saturday night gamer nights either
at a location such as TC or start small by hosting in home with group
members with consoles and TVs. This would include xbox360, PS3 or PC
games like WoW, Starcraft, etc. Obviously an event venue such as TC
would be more ideal and I will look into it if interest is there.

Our past Augusta Hyper Fighting
Tournament was hype, produced an awesome turnout, ran smoothly, and even
raised money for a good cause! (Haiti Earthquake relief - special
thanx' again to all who came). Continuing our series in Augusta type tournaments, this one will feature
two games: Super Street Fighter 4 and BlazBlue Continuum Shift - Come
join us and get hype Saturday August 21st, 2010!

Registration starts at: 12:00pm

Tournament starts at: 1:30pm

(Please try to be here on time, adding late players to the brackets is
never any fun)

Game/ Fees:

House Fee: $5

SSF4: $10

BBCS: $10

Pot percentage to be split for each game: 70/20/10 - 1st, 2nd, 3rd

System Format:

SSF4 and BBCS are to be played ala' X-BOX 360

(our venue is full of 360s ready to be used - If BBCS has interest in
being played on PS3 rather than 360, please let us know)

Rules:

for each game:

-2/3 rounds per game

-2/3 games per set

-3/5 games Winners Finals, Losers Finals, Grand Finals

-You all know the rules - no mapping throw and focus, no turbo, yadda
yadda, please dont cheat

-If anything unexpected interrupts a match please call us over to look

Hwy what up for some reason U join this page right well im looking for local or near players who want to creat a team for CODMW2 or any upcoming game that are going to be on the MLG to participate. Im someone who just loves gaming and will love to become pro we will talk about upcoming games where we can talk about if u good at first person shootin games then we can make this happen game is a career now not just a hobbie.

I seem to have misplaced my someglasses last night, Saturday July 10th. They are black Oakleys. I would go up there today to see if I could find them but I can't seeing as how the TC is closed. I last remember taking them off inside the TC at like 7:30 p.m. ish. I was playing beside Eric aka Cokey the rest of the night in the main room on the corner of that long table. They should be around there if they're at the TC. If anyone has remembers seeing them or took them with them, please let me know. I would greatly appreciate having them returned to me. I can offer to pay someone some money if they can find them. My number is 706-284-8323. Let me know if you find them. Thanks
